Terms and Conditions

 

Welcome to the official Beaconhouse Model United Nations 2026. By accessing this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

 

1- You must send your details to Beaconhouse Model United Nations (BAMUN) by means of completing the online registration at registration form attached.

2-All registration information must be accurate and complete.

3-Participants must agree to the rules and regulations of the host institution and the relevant local authorities.

4-A participation certificate will be issued for participation in the conference if the participant participates in at least 80% of the conference.

5-CODE OF CONDUCT:

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

-Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation on any basis

-Use of abusive, inappropriate, or offensive language

-Behavior that disrupts conference proceedings or violates institutional rules

-Possession, use, or being under the influence of any illegal substances is strictly prohibited at the conference venue, accommodation facilities, or any related event. Any participant found in violation of this will face immediate disciplinary action, including removal from the Conference without refund .The Conference reserves the right to report such violations to the relevant authorities and shall not be held liable for any legal consequences arising.

-The Conference, its organizers, hosts, and affiliated institutions shall not be responsible or liable for the actions, behavior, safety, or well-being of participants outside the official Conference venue or during non-official Conference hours. Any incidents occurring outside the Conference venue shall be dealt with in accordance with the laws and are beyond the responsibility of the Conference organizers.

-Any attempt to scam, defraud, misrepresent payment, or submit fake, altered, or forged payment receipts is strictly prohibited. Registration will only be confirmed upon successful verification of payment by the Conference Finance Team. Violation of this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, including removal from the Conference without refund.

6-By participating in the Conference, you grant the organizers permission to capture and use photographs, videos, and recordings of you for promotional, educational, and archival purposes, including social media and official publications.

7-The Conference reserves the right to:

-Amend committee structures, agendas, schedules, venues, or speakers-Postpone or cancel the Conference due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including security concerns, natural disasters, or government directives.In such cases, the organizers shall not be liable for any personal, travel, or accommodation expenses incurred by participants.

8-By registering for the conference, you confirm that you have read and understood to comply with these terms and conditions.

9-Participants are required to adhere to a formal attire dress code throughout the Conference.

-National or cultural attire may be worn only if it is formal, modest, and appropriate to the diplomatic environment of the Conference.

Prohibited Attire-Casual wear (including jeans, t-shirts, hoodies, sneakers, or slippers)-Revealing or inappropriate clothing-Clothing with offensive text, imagery, or symbols

10-Participants agree to receive any consequence and shall be held liable if he/ she intentionally or unintentionally use the name of BAMUN for any kind of act that badly affects the conference as a whole or to any delegate of BAMUN. BAMUN cannot be held responsible for any kind of misconduct or crime committed by the participants. Participants themselves will be held liable for their own misconduct or crimes
